Project Manager

Duration: 6-9 month - potential longer term extension

Scope of Work:
Position will function as a Project Manager for leading technical, cybersecurity projects to include but not limited to: network firewall implementations, endpoint protection implementation, and vulnerability management projects. In addition to managing projects, project manager will be involved in refining requirements, design, testing, and documentation.

Duties:

Project management of technical, cybersecurity projects.

Create, manage, and communicate project plans using Service Now Project Management module

Gather and document requirements to meet project requirements

Maintain and communicate accurate status of work performed

Create workflow documentation associated with each process

Create process documentation.

Create and update change requests for projects

Create communication plans for projects

Work with technical subject matter experts to create test plans and acceptance criteria

Required Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
A minimum of eight (8) years in the Information Technology field, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience leading technical, cybersecurity related projects.
Experience in all aspects of project management from project origination through project closure.
Knowledge of Firewall terminology.
Knowledge of Endpoint Protection terminology.
Experience using project management software, e.g. Service Now, MS Project, etc.
Experience in refining and documenting requirements.
Minimum two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Visio for creating Use Case diagrams, Swim-lane diagrams, and/or Flow Chart diagrams.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in producing and documenting test case scenarios, test case data, and test case results.
Ability to self-direct and work with the minimal direction to meet critical deadlines
Demonstrate professional organization, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate and interact with technical SMEs.
Strong customer service skills

Experience working with public sector (Government) entities;
Experience using Service Now project management software.
