Sr. Associate Engineer, Security

We are actively seeking a Sr. Associate Engineer, Security
. This role reports to the GVP of Rimini Security & Technology Solutions and is based at Rimini’s corporate office in Las Vegas.

The Sr. Associate Engineer, Security manages and pro‑actively supports Rimini Street security solutions under the guidance of a Security Solutions Architect. The role involves implementing security solutions in client environments, collaborating with Global Security Services, providing post‑implementation support, monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

• Managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of data, systems, and networks.
• Troubleshooting security problems.
• Monitoring applications/databases for security breaches, malicious attempts.
• Ensuring appropriate security controls are enabled.
• Participating in change management processes.
• Participating in client meetings.
• Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures.
• Reporting to senior management on potential threats, proposed improvements, and ongoing security issues.
• Identifying vulnerabilities in hardware, software, and applications.
• Responding to security breaches and investigating incidents.
• Keeping updated on cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or cyber security.
• CompTIA Security+ certification – a plus.
• SSCP – Systems Security Certified Practitioner – a plus.
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator – a plus.

• Linux/Windows knowledge is a requirement.
• Understanding of incident detection, incident response, and forensics.
• Understanding of firewalls and endpoint security.
• Basic knowledge of coding (Python, Java, Linux shell, and/or Power Shell).
• Basic understanding of RDBMS.
• Previous experience communicating with customers and meeting customer demands.

• Communication skills with clients and team members.
• Ability to work under pressure in a challenging environment.
• Strong diligence, analytical mind, and outstanding critical thinking skills.

Salary range: $112k - $140k, depending on skills and experience. Compensation will be based on location, skill level, and experience. Rimini’s target pay is available upon request during the interview process.
