Platform Engineer

Strong experience with core AWS services: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, Backups, EKS, SSO, MSK, Security Hub, Guard Duty, and related security/compliance tooling.

Advanced networking knowledge, including hands-on experience with AWS Transit Gateway (TGW) and Direct Connect — setup, troubleshooting, and hybrid connectivity.

Observability & Monitoring:
Experience with Amazon Cloud Watch, Grafana, Open Telemetry (OTEL), and proactive alerting and telemetry configuration.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation:
Proficient in Terraform, Git Lab CI/CD, and Shell scripting for end-to-end automation.

Container Orchestration:
Solid understanding of Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio service mesh for traffic management, security, and observability.

Security & Patching:
Experienced in patching and vulnerability remediation in cloud-native and containerized environments, aligned with best practices and compliance.

Programming & Scripting:
Hands-on Python development experience for scripting, automation, and infrastructure tooling.

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Work in fast-paced environments.

Minimum 7+ years of experience is required.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 39,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 137,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role. Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full-time employees.
