IT Professional - Unified Communications

This IT Professional 3 position is located in Las Vegas within the Governor's Technology Office's Unified Communications unit. The role involves co-managing and maintaining the statewide Nevada Camera/Card Access System (NCAS), including access control and video surveillance platforms across state facilities, while providing backup support for information security programs. The incumbent will manage NCAS software platforms, user access, system configuration, and coordinate with departments and vendors on installations and security protocols.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or closely related field plus three years of professional IT experience
• One year of experience at journey level in IT specialization areas such as systems administration, network administration, or information security
• Knowledge of access control systems, video surveillance platforms, and security management practices
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and maintain working relationships with technical staff and vendors
• Experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and training other administrators
