Valley Hospital Medical Center in Ridgewood, NJ is seeking a TECH to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will support clinical staff with patient care activities, equipment preparation, and accurate documentation to ensure safe, efficient operations. You will follow established protocols, maintain a clean and organized work area, and assist in patient transport and monitoring as directed.

Responsibilities
- Deliver frontline technical support for clinicians and staff, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues to minimize impact on patient care.
- Support, troubleshoot, and optimize core clinical systems, including EHR, PACS, and other bedside or diagnostic applications used in daily hospital operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals in patient care areas, administrative offices, and ancillary departments.
- Monitor system performance, identify recurring issues, and collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to implement sustainable solutions.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, data privacy, and information security standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to priority incidents, outages, and after-hours requests in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and standard procedures to build and maintain a clear, usable knowledge base for the IT team and end users.
- Partner with nursing, physicians, and allied health professionals to understand clinical workflows and tailor technical solutions that enhance safety and efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on effective use of hospital systems, devices, and new technologies introduced to the organization.
- Contribute to IT projects such as system upgrades, rollouts, and integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care and departmental operations.
