Operations Data Analyst

Credit One Bank is building stronger operations and a better card member experience through data-driven improvements. As an Operations Data Analyst I in Las Vegas, NV (onsite), you will help support business growth by analyzing operational systems and processes, translating findings into actionable insights, and supporting strategic planning with clear reporting and visualization.

You will collect, consolidate, and interpret operational information to produce integrated business analyses and projections that can inform strategic decision-making. Your work will help identify trends, evaluate current practices, and support process optimization across day-to-day operations. You will also recommend systems improvements based on observed outcomes and trends, collaborating on implementation and ongoing monitoring of approved changes.

• Prepare operational reports by collecting, interpreting, evaluating, and summarizing information and trends for business analysis and projections.
• Recommend systems improvements to senior management based on analysis of current practices, outcomes, and trends; participate in implementation and monitoring.
• Collaborate with your direct manager and peer analysts to conduct internal stakeholder research for strategic and business planning.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of processes using department-defined operational metrics and reports.
• Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of changes to procedures or strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1-2 years of experience in a research or analytics environment, including programming, data mining, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large volumes of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Demonstrated knowledge of data processing and analysis tools including Python, SQL, SAS, and Tableau
  .
• Ability to work independently and with others.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Academic or professional experience using Python or SAS for data analysis and statistics, and Tableau for data visualization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of credit card banking industry practices, regulations, and standards.
• Understanding of standard business and customer service practices.
