Legal Secretary, Paralegal
At Gastelum Attorneys, our paralegals play a vital role in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. As a paralegal, you will assist our attorneys in preparing family-law cases from start to finish. Your duties will include conducting legal research, drafting and proofreading pleadings, motions and discovery requests, organizing exhibits and documents, and ensuring that court filings meet all deadlines and procedural requirements.
You will also maintain detailed case files, manage deadlines using our case management software, and communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on their matters. In many cases, you will serve as the primary liaison between clients and attorneys, so strong communication skills, empathy and professionalism are essential.
This position requires a solid understanding of Nevada family-law rules, excellent writing and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with Microsoft Office and practice-management software is helpful, but we provide training for motivated candidates who are eager to learn. At Gastelum Attorneys, we value collaboration and continuous professional growth. You will have opportunities to attend continuing legal education sessions and cross-train on other areas of our practice so you can advance your career within the firm.
Our team-oriented environment fosters mentorship and recognizes hard work.
We offer competitive compensation, health benefits, paid time off, and a supportive workplace culture. If you are passionate about helping families navigate complex legal issues and are looking for a rewarding career as a paralegal in Las Vegas, we encourage you to apply.
