Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of personal injury paralegal experience.
  • Trial experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of current state rules of civil procedure and applicable statutes.
  • Knowledge of federal rules and applicable statutes preferred.
  • Familiar with all filing systems, including EFile NV, Washoe EFlex, and Federal CM/ECF.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; direct, empathetic, and collaborative with a can‑do attitude.
  • Self‑starter and team player, able to engage, accept direction, collaborate, and work independently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Drive to change lives and create a positive impact in the community.

  • Ability to manage a case from start to finish.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, disclosures and supplements, notices, and other written correspondence.
  • Collaborate with medical records staff to ensure all records (priors, current, updated, and billing) have been requested and disclosed.
  • Monitor incoming pleadings, discovery, and other case‑related documents.
  • Manage medical chronologies through in‑house or outsourced parties.
  • Maintain calendar and manage deadlines (including complaint service and discovery response deadlines), ensuring that attorneys are aware of deadlines.
  • Anticipate case and attorney needs.
  • Review and process invoices with the accounts payable department.
  • Participate in scheduling depositions, coordinating witness preparation time, preparing binders, and securing and confirming court reporters with staff.
  • Prepare and organize exhibits for any and all briefs (motions, oppositions, replies, arbitrations, mediations, and trial briefs).
