The Role

Our client, a national law AM 100 firm with a coast-to-coast platform, seeks several Civil Litigation Defense Attorneys to join its defense team. These attorneys will be responsible for managing general liability, product liability, construction, and employment defense matters. The role can be fully remote or involve time in one of the firm’s offices, depending on the attorney’s location.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage defense litigation matters, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents for defense-oriented cases.
• Perform in-depth legal research and factual analysis to support defense strategy.
• Work closely with senior defense attorneys, co-counsel, and support teams.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders to effectively advance defense goals.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal forums.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to and membership in the Nevada Bar (or willingness to obtain), with other state admissions (e.g., CA, WA, OR, , MT, HI, AK) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience with an AM100 defense firm or better, ideally in general liability defense, products liability defense, construction defense, or employment defense.
• Excellent written and verbal advocacy, research, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid defense environment.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a varied caseload under supervision.
