Well known and established 10 Attorney Law Firm seeks an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal, with a minimum 3-10 years of experience (Plaintiff or Defense), to work for the named Partners.
This person will have heavy and extensive experience in Personal Injury Litigation, be able to handle a case load of 50 plus cases that are in progress, and have excellent scheduling and calendaring skills. You will not be writing briefs and doing a lot of research. Your work consists mostly of case management and discovery: preparing Complaints, 16.1 Disclosures, respond and propound discovery, preparing exhibit binders and preparation for trial.
Trial experience is a plus for this position. You will also be ordering, reviewing, and summarizing medical records and preparing deposition summaries.
Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Local Rules of Civil Procedure and FRCP
- E-filing experience in both State and Federal
- Trial experience is a huge plus
- Understand and have knowledge of calendaring and SOL’s
- Able to work as a team or independently
- Computer savvy with MS Word and preferably case management savvy
- Strong in the discovery process
- Possess excellent case management skills
- Have excellent time management skills
- Have a friendly and compassionate demeanor
This is a 37.5 hour work week. Provided is a competitive salary and a generous benefits package. Salary depends on experience $$$ with the opportunity for bonuses.
