Reporting to the Business Partner Relationship Manager, this role supports multiple stages of the product development lifecycle, including being the key connector between Merchandise, Logistics, and Warehouse teams.
This position is responsible for coordinating end-to-end merchandise logistics, including inbound and outbound shipments, stock transfers, and internal shipping requests across all locations. Serving as the primary liaison between Merchandise, Logistics, and Warehouse teams, ensure accurate documentation, timely deliveries, and inventory integrity. This role manages internal communications and supports store openings and merchandise launches to ensure operational readiness and execution.
The Merchandise Coordinator will:- Act as the primary liaison with the Logistics and Warehouse teams to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments;
- Ensure all goods are shipped, received, and delivered according to PO requirements, timelines, and quality standards;
- Create and process internal shipping requests to support the timely movement of merchandise, supplies, and promotional materials between locations;
- Partner closely with the Logistics team to coordinate shipments, monitor tracking information, and proactively address delivery delays or issues;
- Prepare Goods Receipt records for incoming shipments, verifying quantities, condition, and supporting documentation to maintain inventory accuracy and financial compliance;
- Create and manage stock transfer requests for all shows and locations, ensuring accurate inventory allocation and timely movement of merchandise to support operational needs;
- Create commercial invoices and all other supporting documentation for domestic and international stock transfers, ensuring accuracy and timely processing;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal requests, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Serve as the primary representative of the Merchandise team by managing and responding to communications received through the shared department mailbox, ensuring timely, professional, and accurate response;
- Support store openings and merchandise launches by ensuring product shipments arrive complete, correctly labeled, and on schedule;
- Complete all other job-related duties as assigned.
- Associates degree in, Supply Chain Management, Business, Merchandising or a related field, or on the job/work equivalent experience;
- At least one year of experience working in traditional and/or non-traditional logistics outlets;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions;
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
- Knowledge of ethical sourcing and sustainable practices is a plus;
- Strong attention to detail and robust organizational and communication skills;
- Knowledge of all MS Office, SAP and Adobe Products is an asset;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
- Ability to travel as required, sometimes internationally;
- Verification of the right to work in the United States for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, as demonstrated by completion of the Form I‑9 upon hire and the submission of acceptable documentation (as noted on the Form I‑9) verifying one’s identity and work authorization.
