Summary of Role/Position:  is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to work with the Facilities manager in the upkeep, maintenance and/or repair of various equipment and items in the warehouse. The right candidate will have high attention to detail, can work without supervision and have a passion for maintaining a safe work environment.

• Coordinate with the Facilities Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Director of Operations on maintenance work and special projects.
• Manage equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Maintenance and repair of Conveyance Systems.
• Execute equipment audits and record‑taking policies.
• Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
• Fire Extinguisher Maintenance - annually.
• Compressor Maintenance - weekly, monthly and quarterly.
• Assist in battery maintenance - keep batteries charged and watered.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the work area at the end of the shift.
• Perform other work‑related tasks that may be assigned.
• Perform rack repair as needed.

• Must be able to stand or walk up to 12 hours a day.
