Summary of Role/Position: is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to work with the Facilities manager in the upkeep, maintenance and/or repair of various equipment and items in the warehouse. The right candidate will have high attention to detail, can work without supervision and have a passion for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Coordinate with the Facilities Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Director of Operations on maintenance work and special projects.
- Manage equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Maintenance and repair of Conveyance Systems.
- Execute equipment audits and record‑taking policies.
- Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
- Fire Extinguisher Maintenance - annually.
- Compressor Maintenance - weekly, monthly and quarterly.
- Assist in battery maintenance - keep batteries charged and watered.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the work area at the end of the shift.
- Perform other work‑related tasks that may be assigned.
- Perform rack repair as needed.
- A team player who can work with others.
- Can fully carry out instructions as given.
- Have light electrical experience.
- Have light plumbing experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Can multitask.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexible attitude.
- Self‑motivation and determination to succeed.

- Prior facilities experience in warehouse.
- Must be able to stand or walk up to 12 hours a day.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds constantly.
