• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance staff, assigning daily tasks and projects to ensure timely completion.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance and repair work on various systems and equipment, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards, addressing them promptly to minimize operational disruption.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring necessary materials are always available.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and policies to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Train and mentor maintenance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Collaborate with property management to address tenant requests and concerns related to maintenance services.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment, and repairs within the property management system.

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the maintenance or facilities management field.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance procedures.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with staff, management, and tenants.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to maintenance operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
