Overview
Patient’s Choice, an exciting and growing national medical equipment company specializing in custom wheelchairs and home access, is looking for high caliber Home Access Specialist in the Las Vegas, NV area.
The Home Access Specialist, reporting and trained by their regional Manager/ATP, will generate new business and will manage installation of a full line of home access products. This is a technician role with high conversion rate sales opportunities.
The Role- Consult with clients to meet their home accessibility needs.
- Develops and maintains relationships with current and new clients to better position the company to explore new opportunities with those clients.
- Knowledgeably demonstrates vertical and horizontal solutions to clients by providing product recommendations to alter the safety of aging in place.
- Evaluate homes for accessibility equipment and safety hazards.
- Install Products such as ramps, stairglides, vertical platform lifts independently or in a team setting.
- Demonstrate equipment and answers questions from potential customers as it relates to potential products and solutions.
- Maintains an advanced technical understanding of products.
- Follow and adhere to all instructions given by Administration.
- Complete job assignments in a timely manner with little or no supervision.
- Work safely with hand tools and power equipment as required for assignments and understand the proper use of equipment.
- Familiarity with electric motors a plus along with initiative for troubleshooting. (ability to work tech service and basic schematics.
- Competent computer skills and basic knowledge of MS office software.
- Must be professional, punctual, reliable and clean cut. Able to speak well and comfortable interacting with the elderly.
- Receive, un-crate, assemble and dispose of crate material according to safety standards.
- Ability to install and troubleshoot products in a professional manner inside a clients home
- Ability to lift 100+ pounds
- Elevator license preferred
- Experience in carpentry, home remodeling, elevators and/or medical equipment a plus
- Ability to resolve complex pre-sales technical problems, working with other field sales employees
- Ability to present technical concepts in clear manner to customers through demos and proposals
- Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- High degree of professionalism and tenacity
- Elevator or contractor license preferred but not necessary
