• Demonstrateabilitytoreadandfollowdirectionsfoundonsuppliesandequipmentprintedin English
• Abilitytodoheavyliftingofaminimumoffifty(50) poundsandperformheavydutytasks
• Avaliddriver'slicenseaswellascurrentinsuranceandvehiclewithvalidregistration
• Requiredcriminalhistorybackgroundcheck,physicalandproofofU.S.citizenshiporlegalresidentalienstatus

Majorresponsibilitiesoftheroleinclude,butarenotlimitedto:

• Sweep,mop,buff,washandperformrelatedcleaningtasks,includingbutnotlimitedtoallinstructionalareas,toilets, walkways, asphalt areas, hallways, entrances, meeting rooms, etc.
• Cleananddustwalls,blackboards,lockers,furnitureandplumbingfixturesandotherareas/itemsasappropriate
• Washwindowsandotherglassareas
• Maintain stockroom,storageareasandsupplyclosetsinasafemanner,includingtheremovalofrubbishanddebris
• Move supplies,furnitureandequipmentasdirectedbythe
  
  Principal/Supervisor,usingappropriatesafetyequipmentand procedures
• Heavyliftingofaminimumoffifty(50) poundsandtheperformanceofheavydutytasks
• Assistinmakingsurealldoorsarelockedandunlockedandallareasaresecuredtopreventunauthorizedaccessasdirected by the Principal/Supervisor
• Checkfuel/oillevels(when appropriate),replacelightbulbsandmakeminorrepairs
• Raiseandlowertheflag,accordingtoprotocol
• Reportorcorrectdangerousorunsightlyconditionsonandaroundthepremisesincludingdisposalofrubbish
• Assistinmaintaininganinventoryandsecuringequipmentandsupplies,includingbutnotlimitedtoapplicabletechnology such as HVAC, computers and other systems
• Performanceofassigneddutiesinaccordancewithgeneralacceptableindustrysafetystandards
• Conductperiodicbuildingchecksofalldoorsandotherareasasrequiredtomakesurethefacilityissecureandoperational when assigned evening and/or weekend assignments by Supervisor
• Ensurepropercareintheuseandmaintenanceofequipmentandsupplies;promotecontinuousimprovementofworkplace safety and environmental practices
• Beavailablewhencalleduponbythe Supervisoror Central Administratorsaftertheregularworkday
• WillberequiredtosupportprojectsandinitiativesinotherdepartmentsthroughoutCCSDonanas-needed basis
• Otherdutiesasassignedbythe Supervisoror Supervisor 'sdesignee
