About the RoleCFS Brands is seeking a Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Distribution Center Team Lead
. Reporting to a Distribution Center Supervisor, the Distribution Center Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of hourly associates and oversee day-to-day warehouse operations ensuring that all activities run smoothly and efficiently. This includes supervising and training a team of warehouse workers and coordinating with other departments to ensure that all operations are conducted within the accepted KPI’s.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates logistics operations, both inbound and outbound, including inventory control, storage, and transportation, to ensure a sufficient supply of goods and products.
- Controls the commercial impact of the full range of activities that are carried out, from the receipt, location, and delivery of products to the optimization of distribution operations.
- Manages people processes and systems to meet the needs of the organization and our customers.
- Meet or exceed service level metrics while driving continuous improvement.
- Oversee the distribution operations of a warehouse, helping ensure that goods arrive at their destination on time and undamaged
- Implementing distribution policies, conducting routine inspections, delegating tasks to staff, and overseeing shipment tracking
- Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation
- Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures
- Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management
- Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
- Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity
- Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders
- Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and retailers, and responding to customer queries
- Regular and punctual attendance, consistently adhere to the assigned work schedule
- Comply with all company and safety requirements, policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to speak and write in Spanish and English is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, logistics, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in logistics management required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
- Good management and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
