Job DescriptionResponsible for the overall supervision and operations of accounts payable (AP) and professional development of staff. Leadership responsibility to meet accounts payable Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to properties and other key stakeholders. Leadership responsibility to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are appropriately defined and accurately tracked to maximize and improve services provided. Key communicator with property finance regarding SLA performance and to ensure correct operating procedures are adhered to in accordance with SOX, regulatory requirements and internal controls standards.

- Deep focus on standardization, continuous process improvement and performance management for accounts payable.
- Make recommendations to Director of Accounting Services and Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC) Leader to increase process efficiency.
- Evaluate new technology opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of current and evolving best practices and industry trends.
- Given room to manage and develop people as primary focus and not required in day to day process execution.
- Monitors FSSC KPIs and SLAs to ensure metrics are met and appropriately defined to evaluate performance of staff.
- Provides continuous coaching, mentoring and development to staff.
- Primary contact between property finance staff and FSSC AP staff.

- Communicates with various property management personnel.
- Communicates problems or discrepancies to management in a timely and efficient manner.
- Promotes, develops, and maintains effective communication, interaction, and excellent relationship with internal customers, including ensuring their requirements are identified and consistently met.
- Promotes an effective relationship between the department, the operating property and other departments.
- Ensures effective operational processes. Performs all functions with the highest level of integrity.
- Observes and follows all safety procedures.
- Performs all other job related duties as requested.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent and/or ten plus years of progressive AP leadership experience.
- Five to seven (5‑7) years of AP related accounting and supervisory experience.
- Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook, basic office equipment, and 10‑key.
