Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative leader to build out and lead our Group Personal Excess Liability Specialty Group within the Private Client division. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a niche program, collaborate with producers, and oversee a team dedicated to servicing this business. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert who can establish best practices, interface with technology, and serve as a resource to others at Gallagher.

How

you'll make an impact
  • Program Development:
    • Creatively build out the Group Personal Excess Liability Specialty Group as a niche offering within the Private Client division.
    • Develop strategies to market, sell, and educate clients and producers about the program.
    • Establish best practices for the program, ensuring operational excellence and scalability.
  • Collaboration and Marketing:
    • Work closely with producers to promote the program and drive sales.
    • Develop educational materials and resources to enhance understanding of the program among clients and internal teams.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for Gallagher colleagues across the organization.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Oversee and manage a team responsible for servicing the business.
    • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Technology Integration:
    • Interface with technology teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and tools to support the program.
    • Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and client experience.
About You
  • Required:

    Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience –OR– High School degree/GED with 10+ years client service and/or claims management experience. Must hold appropriate licensing as required and be able to travel up to 25% of the time. Proficiency necessary in Microsoft office applications and in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality. Previous experience in managing client relationships essential.

    Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Proven experience in personal excess liability insurance or related fields.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to build out niche programs.
  • Expertise in establishing best practices and operational processes.
  • Familiarity with technology systems and tools relevant to insurance programs.
