The Role:
The Senior Director of Facility Services leads the Las Vegas Convention Center Facility Services Department with responsibility for cleanliness, room set‑ups, warehousing, mailroom operations, and sustainability.

Drive Strategic Direction and Leadership- Provide strategic direction, oversee departmental performance, and ensure safe, efficient, and customer‑focused operations that support the LVCVA mission.
- Lead communication and engagement with Ambassadors by supporting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Foster innovation and continuous improvement, promote collaboration within and between departments.
- Develop operating and capital budgets, oversee department financial performance, and ensure proper resource allocations for labor and assets.
- Manage vendor contracts and adherence to service agreements in alignment with procurement procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety, fire, OSHA, EPA, and ADA requirements through training, inspections, and corrective action.
- Lead sustainability initiatives for the Las Vegas Convention Center.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
- Extensive facility services leadership experience, ideally in convention centers or large hospitality environments.
- Proven success leading diverse, multi-disciplinary teams in a union or bargaining‑unit setting.
- Strong organizational, administrative, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear reports, correspondence, and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA training requirements and working knowledge of EPA and ADA guidelines relevant to facility operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business software.
- Willing to work non‑traditional hours and travel as needed.
- Valid Nevada driver’s license at time of appointment and maintained throughout employment.
