This leadership position involves providing strategic direction, guidance, and mentorship to the design team to ensure successful project execution.

Key responsibilities include defining project tasks, schedules, and resource requirements, supervising staff, improving workflows, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. The manager maintains QA/QC standards, oversees project scopes and budgets, identifies scope and revenue opportunities, and engages in business development activities. Building strong relationships with clients and internal teams is essential for driving project success and contributing to the growth of Westwood in the renewable energy sector.

• Oversee all civil design aspects for utility‑scale renewable projects.
• Provide strategic direction, leadership, and mentorship to the design team.
• Define project tasks, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Prepare and support project proposals.
• Establish goals for project deliverables and maintain QA/QC standards.
• Improve workflows and products.
• Supervise and mentor staff/project engineers.
• Participate in business development activities.
• Foster relationships with internal teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in civil design and technical solutions for renewable projects.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to define project tasks, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Proficiency in budget management and proposal preparation.
• Knowledge of QA/QC standards and project workflow improvement.
• Supervisory experience and mentorship skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong team relationships.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in civil engineering, focusing on renewable site design.
