The GM isresponsiblefor theprofitabilityofthe distribution center andmakescertainallprocessesandproceduresarefollowedefficiently. Specifically, the GM isaccountablefor sales,expense management, people management, andinventorymanagement.
In this position you will:- Accountfordailyexecutionofcompanydefinedprogramprocesses.
- Monitormeasurementsagainstbudget, and/ortargetsofkeyperformancemetrics.
- Reviewcostofoperations andenhanceprofitabilityof
Door Center,including sales calls. - Staff,develop, supervise, anddirectallexempt
Door Centerpersonnel, andhourlyofficestaff. - Lead Continuous Improvementeffortsat the location.
- Overseeandverifytheaccuracyofincomingandoutgoingshipments, handling and dispositionofmerchandise, andkeepingofwarehouseinventory.
- Ensurethatcorporateprogramsregardingsafety,security,careofequipment, andfacilityareenforced;therebyguaranteeingOSHAcompliance.
- Effectchangetoachieveweeklyinventory,scrap, anddamagegoal
- High attention todetailandaccuracy.
- Abilitytoworkquicklyandaccuratelyin a fast-paced environment.
- Warehousedutiesperformedin a non-climatecontrolledenvironment.
- Manual dexterity, and hand toeyecoordinationfor operationofhand/power tools.
- Frequentstooping,bending,walking,carrying, and lifting(50-75lbs.).
- Priorwarehousemanagementexperiencerequired(minimum 3yearspreferred).
- Experienceworkingwithbudgets, P&Lstatements, and logistics.
- Experienceworkingwithexternalcustomersin aflow-throughwarehouse.
- Verbal,written,and interpersonalskillsfor sales.
- Goodsupervisory,leadership, andmotivationalskills.
- Collegeeducationorrelatedexperience.
- Valid driver'slicense.
- Mechanical aptitude/power tools.
