Randstad is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee corporate accounting functions for a premier Casino & Hospitality operator. In this high-impact role, you will serve as a key strategic partner to the Sr. Director, bridging the gap between meticulous General Ledger management and high-level corporate strategy. We are looking for a GL expert who possesses the technical precision to master the details and the emotional intelligence to lead diverse teams and advise executive leadership.
Base salary up to $110K, plus a performance-based bonus and great benefits
High exposure to senior leadership and a clear path for professional development.### Responsibilities:
Directly manage and mentor five managers across AP, AR, Treasury, Fixed Assets, and GL, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth.
Act as the primary point of contact for the Director on all operational accounting matters, assisting with complex financial analysis and special projects.
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure all deadlines are met with precision and financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP.Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets.
Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and manage the preparation of audit schedules.
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders and executive leadership.###
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA designation is preferred.
At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a heavy emphasis on General Ledger operations.
A minimum of 2 years of experience directly managing a team of accounting professionals.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable leading team meetings and presenting data to the Director, with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel, including the ability to troubleshoot complex accounting discrepancies.
Ability to work on-site full-time to provide direct mentorship to the management team and collaborate with leadership.
