The Supply Chain Intern plays a key role within the Supply Chain team, responsible for ensuring materials are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and remain within budget to support production schedules. This role requires strong attention to detail, resilience, and proactive problem-solving to maintain material flow and operational continuity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do:
- Place and maintain purchase orders in line with demand planning and MRP recommendations
- Ensure timely creation and execution of purchase orders, including management of overdue orders
- Take ownership of material availability for assigned parts, proactively managing shortages, delays, and discrepancies
- Communicate and collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve performance issues
- Escalate supplier concerns when required to maintain production continuity
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels using MRP data to reduce excess stock and improve material flow
- Track supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate material data, reports, and supply chain metrics
- Resolve invoice queries and support financial accuracy within supply chain processes
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to support production and operational objectives
- Support supply chain improvement initiatives and complete additional tasks as assigned
What You Need To Be Successful:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field, or currently working toward a degree
- Supply Chain certification (e.g., CSCP) is an asset
- Demonstrated resilience with the ability to manage challenges through to resolution
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data and process management
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate risks and implement solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams
- Experience working with MRP systems and supply chain processes is an asset
Physical & Workplace Requirements:
- Ability to perform standard office-based duties
- Work within a manufacturing environment with strong adherence to safety procedures
- Commitment to Environmental Health & Safety standards, including identifying and reporting unsafe conditions
- Understanding and adherence to company policies, procedures, and business systems

Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday 7AM-11AM
