Quarry Operations​/Recycle Operator

PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction. Your job as a Quarry Operations / Recycle Operator is to help assist in the mining operation.

• Regular schedule:
  Monday – Sunday with mandatory rotating shifts of day, swing, and graveyard

• Pay wage: $29.78/hour with shift differential for swing and graveyard shifts

• Quarry operator with 2 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator/Dozer
• Run recycle plant and ensure constant and appropriate feed of rock and recycle material to the board plant.
• Empty board plant wet reject boxes and end saw material as needed.
• Push material in the dome as needed to maintain appropriate rock feed to the board plant.
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator/Dozer
• MSHA preferred
• CDL preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing/mining environment preferred
• Ability to operate D-9 Dozer, Excavator and Front‑End Loader equipment required to perform duties
• Regular attendance is required

• Previous Mining and Manufacturing Experience
