The Inventory Lead is responsible for accurate documentation and tracking of all product inventory using state‑mandated tracking systems (METRC or equivalent) and internal systems.

The role manages inventory before and after packaging, testing, and sales fulfillment. It facilitates sales transactions and serves as a point of contact for sales representatives.

Responsible for training and coaching Inventory Specialists in collaboration with Supervisors and Managers. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

• Assist in inventory control based on company standards and state regulations.
• Document and enter all inventory from production kitchen into METRC or other state‑specific inventory tracking system.
• Clearly label all inventory.
• Perform daily audits of physical inventory.
• Collaborate with Inventory Supervisor or Manager on inventory levels and packaging planning.
• Log all transfers from inventory items into finished packaged sellable units.
• Fulfill orders, complete manifest documentation, facilitate intake and outtake of product with sales representatives.
• Receive inventory, state labeling, and documentation.
• Receive, stage, and coordinate the flow of raw materials throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized inventory vault and ensure a safe working environment.
• Schedule testing pickups and receive test results, uploading to production server.
• Effectively communicate information and respond to questions or suggestions from various levels within the company.
• Report any damaged, spoiled, broken, or unsatisfactory product or equipment to supervisors.
• Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product.
• Participate in training Inventory employees and assist with planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Address complaints and resolve problems.
• Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may be added or changed.

• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training in a production or manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with high sense of urgency in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Effective communication in English, both verbally and written.
• Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must obtain all required state permits, licenses, and certifications.
• Serv Safe Food Handler’s Card preferred.
• Occasional travel between buildings and sites.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification, if required.
• Will be required to submit to a background check.

Competitive hourly rate of $24.00‑29.15 per hour paid biweekly; 11 paid holidays; 80 hours of PTO; 401(k); fully paid health, dental, and vision insurance.
