The Packaging Associate is responsible for counting, weighing, sorting, labeling, and packaging cannabis products for retail sale in compliance with company standards and applicable regulations. This position ensures accuracy, consistency, and quality of packaged goods, maintains facility cleanliness, and supports team collaboration to meet production goals.

Requirements

Basic math and counting skills.

Experience using hand tools and machines (e.g., scales, grinders, heat guns, torches, sealers, air compressors, and pre-roll machines).

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including accurate note-taking and labeling.

Prior cannabis-related experience preferred.

Minimum 21 years of age.

Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

Dependable, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Strong time management and task prioritization skills.

Summary

Count, weigh, scoop, sort, clean, package, and label cannabis products according to standard operating procedures.

Perform occasional flower trimming and manicuring.

Seal packages using shrink wrap, heat presses, and other appropriate tools.

Operate and maintain machines for grinding, sifting, and producing pre-rolls.

Maintain consistent quality assurance, proper batch separation, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.

Ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness of packaged goods to meet production standards and goals.

Maintain facility and equipment cleanliness and organization.

Collaborate with other team members and management to ensure production and compliance objectives are met.

Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.
