The Coating & Laminating QC Supervisor is responsible for complete line ownership and performance accountability.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead shift production.
- Optimize yield and throughput.
- Work directly with Production Manager on process improvements.
- Assist in new product line trials (IR, ceramic, metallized films).
- Root cause analysis for defects.
- 4-year high school diploma (GED)
- Deep understanding of:
- Optical clarity standards
- IR / UV rejection parameters
- CL defects and causes
- Lean manufacturing mindset
- Data-driven troubleshooting
- Be able to lift 50 pounds

This role requires standing and walking during the entirety of the shift as well as lifting of products. Occasionally one will have to lift 50 lbs. This role also requires the use of gloves and safety glasses while performing certain tasks. The work is completed in a warehouse so one must be able to work in warm temperatures during the summer and cool temperatures during the winter.
HoursThis role is 40 hours a week with three 12-hr shifts Monday through Wednesday from 7am-7pm as well as a 4-hr shift Thursday morning, 7am to 11am.
