Machine Operator Job Description
The Machine Operator supports the full production process by operating a variety of equipment to manufacture high-quality products safely and efficiently. This role involves performing tasks such as annealing, blanking, breakdown, burnishing, coining, milling, packaging, polishing, rolling, weighing, and other assigned duties while following standard work methods and safety procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform all assigned production tasks, including annealing, blanking, breakdown, burnishing, coining, milling, packaging, polishing, rolling, weighing, and other operations as needed.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and correctly according to established procedures.
- Produce products according to verbal and written instructions, ensuring compliance with quality standards and work orders.
- Read and follow work orders and daily production schedules to complete tasks on time and in the correct sequence.
- Monitor and correctly use gauges, machines, and equipment to maintain consistent product quality.
- Maintain a sterile work environment, including changing gloves continuously as required by procedures.
- Lift materials and products up to at least 35 pounds on a continuous basis during the shift.
- Stand, sit, walk, bend, and use hands and arms continuously to perform production tasks.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
