The core responsibilities of this role include:

Kit assembly read work orders, blueprints and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to pull and package exact parts, tools or materials.

Position:
First (1st) Shift Kitting Technician

Shift: 6:00am 230pm Monday -;
Friday Pay: $24.35per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience

* Inventory Control:
Monitor stock levels, track part shortages, and use warehouse management or inventory software to process finished kits.

* Quality Assurance:
Verify that components match part numbers, check for defects or damage before packing and accurately label kits.

* Staging and Delivery:
Deliver completed kits to production lines, assembly floores, or designated work areas to prevent workflow delays.

* Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to strict workplace regulations, which often include FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention and using PPE like steel-toe shoes or cleanroom suits.

Requirements:

* Experience:

1-3 years in manufacturing, warehousing or production environment

* Physical Demands: able to stand or walk for long periods and regularly lift up to 50lbs.

* Skills:

Strong basic math, basic computer and database skills and excellent organizational abilities

Kitting Technician Role Profile

Role

Purpose:

The kitting technician will be required to assemble, inspect, clean, package and kit machined parts and bought-in items necessary for various customized types of kits.

Key Accountabilities:

* Responsible to assemble components and produce quality work, free from errors in a clean room environment.

* Responsible for area and tool maintenance & cleanliness.

* Responsible for various complex assembly work of modified parts to produce customized kits.

* Responsible for inventory management and control.

* Knowledge and ability to use tools to assemble parts.

* Must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure production goals are met.

* Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required

Education and Experience:

* Associate Degree or equivalent in a related field of study

* Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment

* Must have 6 months experience in a complex kitting, assembly environment
