Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support high-speed manufacturing operations across multiple facilities. These are hands‑on maintenance positions responsible for keeping production equipment, machinery, and facility systems operating safely, reliably, and efficiently.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial maintenance within a high-speed manufacturing environment, with preference given to candidates who have worked in plastics, packaging, blow molding, injection molding, bottling, food & beverage, CPG, or other automated production environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving mechanical and electrical problems, and working directly with production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes to minimize production downtime.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance issues.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting using schematics, wiring diagrams, meters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, sensors, switches, valves, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial equipment.
- Perform mechanical repairs involving bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, shafts, cylinders, and related components.
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications, startups, and commissioning as needed.
- Complete preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment issues in the maintenance management system.
- Work closely with Production and other Maintenance team members to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, safety, efficiency, and production uptime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable OSHA requirements.
- Perform additional maintenance-related duties as needed.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience troubleshooting automated production machinery and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment documentation.
- Experience with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and related diagnostic tools.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and the ability to troubleshoot PLC-related faults is strongly preferred.
- Experience with motors, VFDs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, and other industrial components.
- Ability to use common hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with Production and Maintenance teams.
- Ability to work the assigned shift and respond to production equipment issues as required.

- Technical degree, industrial maintenance certificate, or formal apprenticeship is a plus.
- Relevant military mechanical/electrical experience will also be considered.
Compensation typically ranges from $27–$37/hour, depending on location, shift, technical experience, and qualifications. Multiple openings are available across several facilities and shifts, including:
- Dayton, OH: 2nd Shift
- Florence, KY: 1st/2nd Shift Floater
- Las Vegas, NV: 2 Day Shift, 2 Night Shift
Shift differentials and other applicable compensation may vary by location.
