Job Title
Responsibilities:
Packaging and staging completed fabric orders.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain sewing machines.
Must have basic skills with industrial sewing techniques and equipment. Sewing position is responsible for the finishing of printed textiles to specific sizes and at the quality of expectation. Finishing involves measuring, cutting, applying SEG, velcro and stitching using an automated sewing machine. Basic sewing machine maintenance skills required and expected.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain sewing machines
Fit and QC all SEG fabrics into framing systems.
Read and calculate department job ticket(s) information; follow specific fabrication instructions as indicated by Work Order(s), Clients(s), or Supervisor(s)
Maintain inventory supplies as needed
Prepare final product for shipping and delivery multiple locations; create custom packaging when necessary.
Maintain and safely use all Fabric Production finishing tools and equipment provided for trimming, cutting, and packaging.
Provide quality control at designated steps on the process.
Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Graphics Manager or Director.
Qualifications:
Automated stitching
Communication skills
Team work
Read and understand a tape measure
Machine maintenance
General clean up of area
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Sewing: 2 years (Preferred)
Work Environment:
In person
8-10 hour shift
Monday to Friday
