CNV Planner

• Develop and maintain accurate production and inventory plans to meet forecast needs
• Work with the Material Planning Manager to create machine production schedules
• Schedule and reschedule finished products and sub-assemblies according to customer demand, safety stock requirements, forecasts, and production targets
• Plan, schedule, and monitor material movement through the production cycle
• Coordinate material movement with purchasing, production, and engineering
• Determine required material purchases
• Approve the production plan
• Identify innovative ways to improve trim and process efficiency and reduce waste
• Collaborate with Converting Production Planning to maximize service to end-use clients
• Support the parent reels sales office in client relationships concerning production plans, deliveries, and technical specifications
• Work with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and other planners to develop production plans

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or another similar technical discipline
• 1–3 years’ experience in scheduling in a manufacturing environment
• Paper mill or paper industry experience preferred
• Ability to evaluate large amounts of information
• Ability to work in a time-bound environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and balance conflicting objectives
• Technical/software skills, including SAP and Excel
• Must be local to the Las Vegas area and seeking a long-term role
• Personal protective equipment is required in plant and warehouse areas
• Ability to work in environments with paper dust, noise, and seasonal temperature variation

Demonstrates expertise in production planning and inventory management, with a strong focus on optimizing material movement and scheduling in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in utilizing SAP and Excel for data analysis and production scheduling.
