Konami Gaming is looking for an Assembler III to join our team!

The Assembler III position is responsible for working independently at a bench or on the shop floor with minimal general direction. This includes assembling, disassembling, modifying, and repairing machines and/or various component parts and sub-assemblies for all products. The position is responsible for the final assembly and testing of finished slot machines in the assembly process.

What you’ll be doing
  • Positions and assembles parts for game machines by following work orders, reading blueprints and schematics, sample visual aids or knowledge of units being assembled.
  • Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips or other fasteners using hand and/or power tools or specialized equipment.
  • Disassembles, partially or completely, game machines and/or various assemblies or components parts for all products.
  • Responsible for training new hires in best practices policies and procedures.
  • Makes modifications or repairs as directed or indicted by state of configuration of machines and/or assemblies or component parts, using hand and/or power tools and specialized equipment.
  • Sets up or takes down workstation daily or as required making sure area is clean and organized tools stored, power tools charging, floor swept, and debris is disposed.
  • Assists in the loading and unloading of machines to and from transportation carriers.
  • Communicates problems and concerns, method improvements, product or specification change recommendations and work status to management personnel.
  • Maintains expected output quantity/productivity of production line.
  • Maintains high standard of quality of over 90%.
  • Performs final quality assurance.
  • Skilled in all aspects of trouble shooting.
  • Participates fully in company health and safety programs and comply with all OSHA policies and procedures.
  • Reports to Production Supervisor and/or Lead on duty any discrepancies or problems requiring resolution.
  • Always comply with the company’s regulatory guidelines and corporate policies.
  • Follows all lawful employer safety and health rules.
  • Reports hazardous conditions to Production Supervisor or Lead on duty at the time of incident.
  • Report any job-related injury or illness to management and seek treatment promptly.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding the company, products, and employee information.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED /Mechanical certification is required.
  • 6 years of working experience in a mechanical or technical manufacturing role is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and configure multiple product type, including trouble shooting within time and quality standards.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently, both verbal and written with all levels of the business.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Gaming licensure(s).
  • Knowledge of data entry software;
    Torque wrenches, electrical workmanship standards.
Work Environment
  • Full-time / 40+ hours per week. Must be flexible to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be comfortable working in an area with limited working space for long hours with the ability to remain seated at computer terminal for extended periods of time. Extreme repetitive motion using keyboard, mouse, and telephone.
  • Must be able to work at assigned location to enable direct communications and interactions with team members, management, and others as necessary, unless traveling for a business-related purpose.
  • Must be comfortable working on a concrete floor and warehouse environment. Must have the ability to move fast and function quickly on a daily basis.
