The Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department, including implementation and execution of signage, collateral, digital media, advertising, website and other marketing activities. Assists the VP of Marketing with the creation and implementation of strategic department initiatives.
- Identifies marketing opportunities in print, online, outdoors and via social media.
- Manages Marketing Department to ensure that processes and procedures are practiced, quality control is maintained, and deadlines are met.
- Assist in obtaining requested information for expense reporting and other requests as needed by various department heads.
- Manage the scheduling, opening and follow-through of marketing projects.
- Monitor the company website for any updates/changes/additions.
- Support special events team in the execution of special events and promotions - and timely opening of related projects
- Ensure that promotional, signage and print collateral inventory is monitored and maintained at appropriate levels, including ensuring strategic placement and timely installation and removal/replacement of time-sensitive promotion
- Occasional interaction with Facilities/Construction, HR, Legal, IT, Risk Management, Security, Surveillance, and Retail Tenants.
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 3 years of successful marketing experience in a leadership capacity performing same or similar job duties as stated above
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or PR preferred
- Adept with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Sound management, diplomacy, strong decision-making skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong editing skills
- Ability to work well under strict and strenuous deadlines
- Comfortable working with many different personality types
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed
