The AVP of Marketing is responsible for the overall effectiveness and performance for current customer lifecycle communications. This team member will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns to help drive revenue, increase retention and improve customer engagement throughout the customer lifecycle across multiple channels.
Summary of Essential Job Functions- Lead as a collaborative partner and support cross-functional teams across the bank
- Drive innovative marketing strategies to drive engagement throughout the customer lifecycle, including utilization campaigns.
- Define communication standards including frequency, cadence, messaging and tone.
- Develop optimization recommendations and insights for future campaigns based on data-driven analysis of results.
- Create comprehensive reporting that supports the overall goals of our internal business partners and helps in strategic decisioning to drive creative, copy, and offer for card members.
- Assess performance and track results by channel and audience to ensure consistency
- Manage and oversee marketing operations and digital platforms
- Lead, coach and inspire a team of direct reports
- Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a communications-related field
- 15 years of marketing experience is required
- Proven ability to conceptualize, launch, and optimize campaigns across multiple channels
- Experience interpreting data to drive decisions and behavior
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Experience translating client/stakeholder requests into highly specified project requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly complex environment
- Ability to lead a team and drive results
