About this position
We are looking for a motivated and organized Event Coordinator to help plan and manage community-based events that support nonprofit campaigns. This role is great for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and making a positive impact.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and set up community outreach and fundraising events
- Coordinate event logistics, including location, materials, and team schedules
- Work closely with outreach staff to ensure events run smoothly
- Help train and support team members at events
- Track event performance and assist with reporting results
- Communicate clearly with staff, community partners, and the public
- Troubleshoot any on-site issues and ensure a professional event experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-based setting
- Interest in nonprofits or community outreach
