Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in a full-time, on-site contract position based in Las Vegas, NV
. The NP will deliver advanced nursing services in primary care while also collaborating with Psycare, providing integrated behavioral health support to our patients. The ideal candidate will have dual certification in Family and Psychiatric Mental Health to ensure holistic patient care addressing both physical and mental health needs.

Key responsibilities include evaluating patient conditions, diagnosing medical and psychological ailments, prescribing medications, and developing comprehensive treatment plans. The NP will perform health assessments, educate patients on preventive care, and actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to integrate family health and mental health services for the betterment of patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care services, including evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients' medical conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with Psycare to deliver integrated mental health care and treatment plans for patients with both physical and behavioral health needs.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions, leveraging dual certification in Family and Psychiatric Mental Health

  • Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans for patients with both chronic and acute conditions, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate, including psychotropic medications, in collaboration with the patient’s mental health care provider.
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and deliver patient education on wellness, preventive care, and mental health.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Work in close partnership with other healthcare providers, including physicians, behavioral health specialists, and allied health professionals, to coordinate care.
  • Ensure all care is provided with a focus on patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA standards.
Qualifications
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification to practice in the state of Nevada.
  • Dual certification in Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (FNP and PMHNP) required.
  • Proficiency in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and prescribing medications, including psychotropic drugs.
  • Strong clinical skills in advanced nursing practices, performing health assessments, and managing both physical and mental health conditions.
  • Experience in integrated care settings, with a commitment to providing whole-patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and build rapport with patients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team and integrate physical and mental health care.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Prior experience in a clinical, hospital, or integrated healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent education from an accredited institution.
