USPI Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Las Vegas, NV. We offer our physicians lightning fast turn over times and our patient's unique personalized service. this is a high volume, fast paced, multi-specialty surgery center! Our mission is to provide first class surgical services to the local community in a safe, comfortable, welcoming environment one in which we would be happy to treat our own families.

We have 5 operating rooms offering a full range of surgical procedures including:
Bariatrics, Colorectal, General Surgery/Robotics, GI, OB/Gynecology, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Spine.

Job Summary:

As the Registered Nurse Operating Room Charge Nurse, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the OR, ensuring the highest quality patient care, promoting team efficiency, and fostering a positive environment. You will act as a clinical resource for staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.

Key

Duties Include:

* Coordinate and oversee patient care in the operating room

* Act as a mentor and resource for the OR team

* Facilitate communication between surgical staff, anesthesiologists, and other departments

* Communicate with vendors and representatives for supplies, equipment or instruments that are needed for cases.

* Works closely with Materials and Sterile Processing Dept to coordinate supplies & instrument needs.

* Prepare schedules

* Assist where needed

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Required Skills:

* Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing

* Must have current unrestricted RN license to practice in Nevada

* BLS, ACLS, PALS accredited by AHA required

* 1+ years experience in a fast-paced, intra-operative setting required

* Nursing leadership experience

* Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities

* Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, families and vendors

* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
