Welcome to USPI Durango Outpatient Surgery Center. It is an Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Las Vegas, NV that offers physicians lightning‑fast turnover times and patients unique personalized service. This high‑volume, fast‑paced, multi‑specialty surgery center has 5 operating rooms and performs a full range of surgical procedures including bariatrics, colorectal, general surgery/robotics, GI, OB/GYN, sports medicine, orthopedics, pain management, podiatry, and spine.
Job SummaryAs the Registered Nurse Operating Room Charge Nurse, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the OR, ensuring the highest quality patient care, promoting team efficiency, and fostering a positive environment. You will act as a clinical resource for staff, ensuring adherence to evidence‑based practices and regulatory standards.
Key Duties- Coordinate and oversee patient care in the operating room
- Act as a mentor and resource for the OR team
- Facilitate communication between surgical staff, anesthesiologists, and other departments
- Communicate with vendors and representatives for supplies, equipment or instruments needed for cases
- Work closely with Materials and Sterile Processing Departments to coordinate supplies & instrument needs
- Prepare schedules
- Assist where needed

- Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- Must have current unrestricted RN license to practice in Nevada
- BLS, ACLS, PALS accredited by AHA required
- 1+ years experience in a fast‑paced, intra‑operative setting required
- Nursing leadership experience
- Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, families and vendors
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
