Job Summary and Qualifications
  • You will participate as an administrative member of the leadership team and assume 24-hour responsibility and direction of the operations of the Adult Critical Care Units and direct oversight of one of the units as needed.
  • You will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of comprehensive Adult Critical Care Nursing services by planning, directing, managing, and evaluating day‑to‑day operations of the units. Responsible for problem resolution within assigned areas.
  • You will maintain current competency with the nursing skills required for the position, and demonstrate knowledge regarding Standards of Care and Standards of Practice in the areas assigned.
  • You will interact with Regional and Corporate personnel, when appropriate or as directed by CNO, and assure facility compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and all other Federal, State, and local requirements and regulations in all areas of responsibility.
Required Qualifications
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
  • Accredited School of Nursing graduate – BSN required.
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or related health field required (or actively in progress).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an acute care setting.
  • Minimum of 1 year management and leadership experience.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or Nursing Administration, or other applicable nursing certification preferred.
