- Unit Information:
Neonatal ICU (675) - Typical procedures performed on unit(s): admissions, intubations, central line placements, induced hypothermia, ROP exams; stable surgeries such as PDA, Laser Eye, bowel
- Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role (stakeholders specify the following requirements)
- Recent experiences with ventilators (conventional and oscillator/Jet)
- Management of IV drips per PICC/UVC/CL
- Ability to manage intubated patients
- Familiar with arterial line lab draws
- Required
Certifications:
BLS, NRP - Floating Area(s): PICU

Number of Staff – 160+;
Type of staff:
Day Shift – 1 Charge, 1 Resuscitation RN, ~30 bedside RN’s, 1 CNA;
Night Shift - 1 Charge, 1 Resuscitation RN, ~30 bedside RN’s, 1 CNA;
Patient Ratios – 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4;
Equipment – Alaris and Medfusion pumps, GE CR monitors, Giraffe Omni beds, panda radiant warmers, isolettes, bassinettes, cribs, artic sun coolers; EMR – CPN, Meditech
Preferred or nice to have: neonatal cardiac medical and surgical, Trach, ostomy, Gastrostomy tubes, Level 4 experience
