Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN), you'll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks, you'll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing journeys. Partnering with a skilled team that's deeply committed to this unique population, you'll restore comfort and healing - caring for patients like family and improving lives every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey

* Performing expert procedures and medication administration - including pain relief and fluid therapy - delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort

* Educating and supporting patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions

* Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each individual's needs

What qualifications you will need:

* Current licensure in Nevada as a Registered Nurse Required

* Demonstrated current RN experience in Burn Services/Care Required.

* Must exhibit quality communication skills with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions

* ACLS, BCLS, & ABLS required

* Passing score on Critical Care Test/ Rhythm interpretation examination

* CCRN preferred

* Ability to participate in considerable walking and standing, moderate lifting, and exposure to patient elements and handling of emergencies and critical patient incidents

* Minimum 1yr acute care experience required
