Seeking an experienced Mother Baby Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. • You will be knowledgeable of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition.
• You will perform a head-to-toe assessment on maternal and newborn and reassessments as per policy.
• You will formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient’s response to treatment and evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness.
• You will communicate appropriately and clearly to charge nurse, coworkers and physicians.
• You will consult other departments as appropriate to provide for an interdisciplinary approach to the patient’s needs.
• You will coordinate and supervise patient care, as necessary.
• You will demonstrate an ability to assist physicians with procedures in the mother/baby area.
• You will interact professionally with patient/family and involve patient/family in the formation of the plan of care.
• You will maintain a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
• You will identify and address psychosocial needs of patients and family.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Nevada (RN) Registered Nurse license.
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree.
• Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience.
