This position is considered At-Will and will serve at the pleasure of the CEO.
POSITION SUMMARYPrepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. Informs physician of patient's condition during anesthesia. Performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCEMaster's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an accredited MSN program with a CRNA program and licensed to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
LICENSING / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTSState of Nevada License to Practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), Certification by the NCRNA (National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
- Post-Master's certification from a COA-accredited Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program
- Pediatric anesthesia experience is preferred but not required.
