Licensed Vocational Nurse; LVN​/LPN - PRN | Las Vegas LTACH

Position Overview

PAM Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide nursing care on the unit under the direction of an RN. The role involves gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner in accordance with PAM Health policies and procedures.

• Provide appropriate nursing care under RN supervision.
• Gather and report patient data.
• Carry out orders and perform therapeutic procedures.
• Perform related duties as assigned or requested.

• Current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state where the hospital is located.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Preferred experience:
  • Emergency or critical care environments.
  • Comfort working with ventilators, tracheostomies, PICC lines, etc.
  • Two years of direct patient care experience.
