• Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.
• Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering care.
• Make self‑available to staff at agencies.
• Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students based on course objectives.
• Be available for remediation of students as required.
• Orient and maintain current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Develop and post written clinical assignments aligned with students’ skill competency and learning needs.
• Correct and return homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs and the College.
• May teach didactic course content under supervision of the course coordinator.
• Keep the course coordinator informed of all student and agency issues and concerns.
• Work with college administration, staff, and faculty to improve overall operation and student satisfaction.
• Participate in the implementation of the College Assessment Program, campus retention efforts, and both departmental and campus policies.
• Serve as a professional role model in customer service, collaboration, communication, excellence, dress, attendance, and professionalism.
• Utilize relationship skills in situations requiring group problem solving, consensus building, and win‑win negotiation.
• Comply with all applicable regulatory rules and standards.
• Report to the dean or assistant dean; a course coordinator will provide direct oversight.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• Master's Degree in Nursing –
  Required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience (within last 5 years) in pediatric practice as a registered nurse –
  Required
• Excellent communication skills with high level of initiative and prudent judgment.
• Professional RN licensure in the state of practice –
  Required

In support of pay transparency laws, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 and $7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience. Actual pay may be adjusted based on factors such as course type, experience, geography, licensure, certifications, market conditions, budgets, and responsibility.
