Responsibilities- Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.
- Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads.
- Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering care.
- Make self‑available to staff at agencies.
- Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students based on course objectives.
- Be available for remediation of students as required.
- Orient and maintain current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Develop and post written clinical assignments aligned with students’ skill competency and learning needs.
- Correct and return homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs and the College.
- May teach didactic course content under supervision of the course coordinator.
- Keep the course coordinator informed of all student and agency issues and concerns.
- Work with college administration, staff, and faculty to improve overall operation and student satisfaction.
- Participate in the implementation of the College Assessment Program, campus retention efforts, and both departmental and campus policies.
- Serve as a professional role model in customer service, collaboration, communication, excellence, dress, attendance, and professionalism.
- Utilize relationship skills in situations requiring group problem solving, consensus building, and win‑win negotiation.
- Comply with all applicable regulatory rules and standards.
- Report to the dean or assistant dean; a course coordinator will provide direct oversight.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Master's Degree in Nursing –
Required - Minimum 2 years of recent experience (within last 5 years) in pediatric practice as a registered nurse –
Required - Excellent communication skills with high level of initiative and prudent judgment.
- Professional RN licensure in the state of practice –

In support of pay transparency laws, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 and $7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience. Actual pay may be adjusted based on factors such as course type, experience, geography, licensure, certifications, market conditions, budgets, and responsibility.
