Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Join Envision Health as a full‑time Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and elevate care across Las Vegas. The role will be working in the Emergency Medicine specialty at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center (JV) – EM Las Vegas, NV.

Location: Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, Las Vegas, NV (496‑bed, Joint Commission‑accredited facility). The position rotates between four main EDs in Las Vegas with annual visits ranging from 45,000 to 60,000 per ED.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced practice care in a fast‑paced emergency department setting.
• Perform essential ED procedures such as suturing, incision & drainage, nasal packing, and eye examinations.
• Lead and collaborate with the clinical team, ensuring high‑quality patient care and teamwork.
• Work within a structured shift schedule (up to 54 hours daily for physicians, 40 hours daily for APPs).
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and clinical workflow.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Practice Provider (APP) credential with a minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Compassionate approach to patients from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Proficiency in basic ED procedures and clinical data interpretation.
