The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is located in an acute care setting. The role involves providing high-level patient care on a 36-bed unit with a focus on critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to manage complex cases, utilizing specialized equipment and procedures to support patient recovery and stability.

• Schedule:
  
  Nights shifts, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Licensure as a registered nurse; minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU level unit; current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications; experience with ventilators, high-flow oxygen, Bipap, Cpap, IV medications such as Levophed, Epinephrine, Insulin, Norepinephrine, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Propofol, Precedex, fentanyl, versed, Amiodarone, Lidocaine, and paralytics. Availability to start on 10/05/2026, with a contract ending on 01/04/2027.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with TTM (Targeted Temperature Management), hemodynamics, PA (Pulmonary Artery) catheters, and procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy, EGD (esophagogastroduodenoscopy), colonoscopy, wound debridement, and line insertions.
• Additional Information:
  The unit features ventilators, Art Sun, Rapid infusers, CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) machines, IV med pumps, SCD (Sequential Compression Device) machines, cooling blankets, and glucometers. Documentation is maintained via the Meditech system. The unit has a policy of float coverage across all ICU and intermediate care units. Candidates should have at least 2 years of ICU experience.
