Thrive Behavioral Hospital – Las Vegas, NV
Pay: $36–$40 per hour

Thrive Behavioral Hospital is seeking compassionate and professional Registered Nurses who are genuinely interested in psychiatric and behavioral healthcare. Experienced behavioral health nurses and motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program that meets Nevada Board of Nursing requirements.
  • Current Nevada RN license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience is preferred but not required.
  • New graduate nurses are welcome if they demonstrate a genuine interest in psychiatric nursing.
  • Nurses transitioning from another specialty should be able to clearly explain their interest in behavioral health.
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional presentation and a genuine interest in our facility and patient population.
  • A stable employment history is preferred.
  • Dependable, collaborative, and committed to compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete nursing assessments and monitor patients’ physical and behavioral health.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility policies.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient behavior or condition.
  • Participate in treatment planning and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Provide patient education, emotional support, and crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Follow all safety, confidentiality, infection-control, and regulatory requirements.
  • Help maintain a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment.
