Overview
I’m partnering with a long-standing nonprofit veterinary organization in Las Vegas that has been serving the community for over 25 years. This is a purpose-driven hospital with a clear mission: increasing access to essential veterinary care for owned pets and community cats, particularly for low-income families. If you’re motivated by impact, teamwork, and sustainable work-life balance, this role offers something genuinely different from traditional GP practice.
The clinic focuses on high-volume spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, and microchipping, allowing veterinarians to work efficiently while making a tangible difference every single day. You’ll be joining a small, experienced team of doctors and support staff in a calm, well-structured environment with no emergency work, no weekends, no on-call duties, and a predictable four-day work week. The current Medical Director is hands-on, highly skilled surgically, and committed to mentoring, making this an excellent option for both experienced surgeons and newer graduates looking to build confidence in surgery with strong support.
This organization is entering an exciting growth phase, with plans to strategically expand capacity and staffing while remaining deeply committed to staff wellbeing and burnout prevention. Compensation is straight salary (no production, no negative accrual) and benefits are notably strong for a nonprofit setting.
